THE FOUNTAIN LOOP
Take I-25 South out of the Springs
Take Fountain exit ...not Ft. Carson exit (I think exit #128).. Go East over overpass and continue on Santa Fe
to OHIO St.
Turn right and go a few blocks to Main St.----You can turn right and park on either side of the street. I prefer
the East side of the street in front of Municipal Bldg..
We leave from there......Laundromat across the street has a bathroom in the back.
Course goes East on Ohio until road comes to a "T".
Left at "T"..continue on as the road turns to the right.
Turn left onto Link Rd.
Turn right on Squirrel Creek rd.
Take the roller hill trek to Peyton Hwy and turn right.
Now it's just you and the cactus until you pass the school and turn right on Hanover Rd.
Turn right on Old Pueblo Rd.....continue on to Fountain where it becomes Main st. and you are back to the
Municipal Bldg.
Ride is a forty mile loop
